RAW to JPG FAQ
How do I convert RAW to JPG?
Add your RAW photos, check that JPG is selected and press Convert. The JPG files are developed from the full sensor data with your camera's white balance.
Which RAW formats work?
Canon CR2 and CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Adobe DNG, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Fujifilm RAF, Pentax PEF, Samsung SRW and many more. Very new cameras may not be supported yet.
Will the JPG keep the full resolution?
Yes, at full size. Half size gives a picture with half the width and height, and is much faster. Very large photos switch to half size automatically if the browser would run out of memory.
Why is the JPG smaller than the RAW file?
A RAW file stores raw sensor data with room for heavy editing. A JPG stores the finished picture, compressed. At 92% quality it looks the same for normal use.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Photos are read and converted on your own device and never leave it.
