DNG to JPG FAQ

What is a DNG file?

DNG, Digital Negative, is Adobe's open RAW format. Some cameras and drones save it directly, and editors can convert other RAW files into it.

Do all DNG files open?

Most do. Files that hold already-processed or unusual data, such as some multi-frame phone captures, may not open, and the page says so.

Is the white balance kept?

Yes. The white balance stored in the file is used, or choose Daylight instead.

Can I convert many DNG files at once?
