Choose the black or night room, set the speed to Sleep or Calm and press full screen. The controls fade after a few seconds and the screen stays awake.

Warm the wax yourself

Tap a blob at the bottom to give it extra heat: it lifts off sooner. Drag through the liquid to swirl the blobs around.

Tilt your phone

With tilt on, the warm wax rises towards whichever way is up, so you can lean the whole flow from side to side.

Pick colours that pop

Bright wax in a deep liquid glows best: pink in violet, aqua in blue or yellow in red. Lighter liquids look like a sunny window.

Restart from cold

Switch the lamp off and on in Speed to watch the wax settle into a pool and slowly warm back up, just like a real lamp.

Loop videos for any screen
