How does editing with reference images work?

Attach one or more images in the prompt box and describe what should change. The generator switches to the edit model automatically. Pro and Nano Banana 2 accept up to 14 images; the original accepts up to 10.

Which sizes and formats can I get?

Pro renders at 1K, 2K or 4K and Nano Banana 2 from 0.5K to 4K. Choose Auto or a fixed aspect ratio from 1:1 to 21:9, and download PNG or JPEG.

Can Nano Banana put readable text in an image?

Yes. Nano Banana 2 was built with improved text rendering and can also translate and localize text that already appears in an image, which helps with posters, packaging and UI mockups.
