Gen-2.5 adds five quality tiers from Extreme-Low to Extreme-High, quad or triangle mesh presets, faithful or creative geometry, HD textures, texture de-lighting and an optional HighPack add-on.

Frequently asked questions

Which Rodin version should I use?

Use Gen-2.5 for new work: it adds quality tiers, geometry modes and HD textures. Keep Gen-2 when you need to match assets you already generated with it.

What do the quality tiers change?

Tiers trade speed and cost against detail, from Extreme-Low for quick drafts to Extreme-High for close-up hero assets. The generator shows the price of the selected tier before you run.

Which material should I choose?

PBR gives albedo, roughness and metalness maps for real-time engines; Shaded bakes the lighting into the color; All returns both. Choose no material when you only need geometry, for example for 3D printing.

Which file formats are supported?

Rodin can return GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL or USDZ, so the asset drops straight into Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, AR viewers or a slicer.

How much does it cost?

You pay per generated model with no subscription; the table on this page shows the current price of each Rodin model. New accounts receive free starter credits.

Is there an API?

Yes. Every Rodin model has a REST API endpoint with the same parameters as the studio, plus Python and JavaScript SDKs for batch generation.
