How do I cut out an object from an image?

Open the photo, click the object, and download. The AI finds the object's edges from a single click; more clicks refine it. The download is the object on a transparent background, at the photo's full size.

How do I select only part of an object, or add a missing part?

Click the missing part to add it. To take an area out, shift-click or right-click it, or switch Clicks to Remove and tap it. Undo removes the last point and Reset points starts over.

Is it free? Are my photos uploaded?

It's free, with no account and no watermark. The AI runs in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

Why does the first photo take longer?

On first use your browser downloads the AI (about 20 to 40 MB) and keeps it, so later visits start quickly. Each new photo then takes a few seconds to prepare; after that, every click updates the selection instantly.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Tap the object to select it and tap more spots to refine; switch Clicks to Remove to take areas out. Phones without graphics acceleration for AI take longer to prepare a photo.

What can I download?

The cut-out as a transparent PNG or WebP, or as a JPG on a white background, and a black-and-white mask (white is the object) for use in photo editors, video tools or AI image editing.

How is this different from a background remover?

A background remover guesses the main subject. Here you choose: any object, even a small one in a busy scene, and you can combine several objects or leave parts out.

Are there size limits?

Photos up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels open. Cut-outs are saved at the photo's size, up to about 16 megapixels; larger photos are scaled down to that.
