Tripo3D Auto Rig adds a skeleton to a 3D model of a humanoid, animal or creature, ready for animation. Ready-to-use REST inference API, best performance, no coldstarts, affordable pricing.

Features

Tripo3D Auto Rig adds a skeleton to a 3D model of a humanoid, animal or creature, ready for animation, powered by Tripo.

Why Choose This?

  • Official Tripo models The same Tripo models used in Tripo Studio, served as a REST API.

  • Production-ready output Download the result as a 3D file ready for game engines, DCC tools, AR and 3D printing.

  • Pay per task No subscription; you pay only for what you run.

Parameters

ParameterRequiredDescription
modelYesThe 3D model to process (GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ or STL, up to 150 MB).
rig_typeNoSkeleton type. auto detects it from the model. Options: auto, biped, quadruped, hexapod, octopod, avian, serpentine, aquatic, others. Default: auto.
specNoBone naming convention for humanoid (biped) rigs. Options: tripo, mixamo, actorcore, unity, unreal, vrm. Default: tripo.
out_formatNoOutput format. Options: glb, fbx. Default: glb.

Pricing

$0.30 per model (the automatic rig type detection is free).

How to Use

  1. Upload your 3D model — GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ or STL.
  2. Adjust the options you need, or keep the defaults.
  3. Submit — download the 3D file when it is ready.
