Understanding how long WaveSpeedAI stores your data.
Retention Periods

Generated Content
Generated media files are temporary and generally expire within 7 days.
This includes:
- Generated images
- Generated videos
- Generated audio
- Any other model outputs
What you should do
- Download immediately — Save outputs you want to keep right after generation
- Use webhooks — For API users, set up webhooks to automatically retrieve outputs
- Check predictions — Review your Predictions page regularly
Why 7 Days?
We limit retention to:
- Protect your privacy
- Reduce storage costs (keeping your costs down)
- Comply with data protection regulations
Exceptions
Some data may be retained longer:
- Data required for active support tickets
- Data required for billing disputes
- Data required by law
Requesting Data Deletion
To delete your data immediately:
- Generated media files — Wait for automatic expiration (up to 7 days) or contact support
- Account and all data — Contact support@wavespeed.ai
