Minimax H3 Lite Image To Video API Documentation
Playground
Try it on WaveSpeedAI!MiniMax H3 Lite Image To Video generates 4-15 second videos at 768p or 480p.
Features
MiniMax H3 Lite Image To Video generates 4-15 second videos at 768p or 480p.
Inputs
A prompt is required (1-7000 characters). Duration is an integer from 4 to 15 seconds. Default duration is 5 seconds and default resolution is 768p.
Provide a first-frame image and optionally a last-frame image. Output aspect ratio follows the input image. Images must be 256-5760 pixels per side, with width/height ratio 0.4-2.5.
Pricing
| Resolution | Output video per second | Input video per second | Image beyond free quota |
|---|---|---|---|
| 768p | $0.04 | $0.04 | $0.02 |
| 480p | $0.025 | $0.025 | $0.02 |
The first 5 input images per task are free. Input audio is free. Reference video duration is rounded up to whole seconds for billing. Output video and input media charges are added together.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| prompt | string | Yes | 1 ~ 7000 characters | Text description of the desired motion and scene. | |
| image | string | Yes | - | First-frame image URL or Base64 data. Supported image dimensions are 256-5760 pixels per side, with an aspect ratio between 0.4 and 2.5. | |
| last_image | string | No | - | - | Optional last-frame image URL or Base64 data. |
| resolution | string | No | 768p | 768p, 480p | Output video resolution. |

| data.outputs | array | Output values, usually URL strings; some models return text strings or structured result objects (empty when status is not completed) |
| data.urls | object | Object containing related API endpoints |
| data.status | string | Task status. completed is successful; failed, cancelled, timeout, and deleted are failure terminal statuses. |
| data.created_at | string | ISO timestamp of when the request was created (e.g., “2023-04-01T12:34:56.789Z”) |
| data.error | string | Error message (empty if no error occurred) |
| data.timings | object | Object containing timing details |
| data.timings.inference | integer | Inference time in milliseconds |
