Minimax H3 Highspeed Reference To Video API Documentation
Playground
Try it on WaveSpeedAI!MiniMax H3 Highspeed Reference To Video generates 4-15 second videos at 768p.
Features
MiniMax H3 Highspeed Reference To Video generates 4-15 second videos at 768p.
Inputs
A prompt is required (1-7000 characters). Duration is an integer from 4 to 15 seconds. Default duration is 5 seconds and default resolution is 768p.
Provide at least one reference image or video, optionally with reference audio. Up to 9 images, 3 video clips, and 3 audio clips are supported. Video and audio clips must each be 2-15 seconds, with a total of at most 15 seconds per media type. Choose a concrete aspect ratio. Audio cannot be supplied alone.
Pricing
| Resolution | Output video per second | Input video per second | Image beyond free quota |
|---|---|---|---|
| 768p | $0.06 | $0.06 | $0.03 |
The first 5 input images per task are free. Input audio is free. Reference video duration is rounded up to whole seconds for billing. Output video and input media charges are added together.

Request Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Range | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| prompt | string | Yes | 1 ~ 7000 characters | Text description of the desired video scene and interactions. | |
| reference_images | array<string> | No | - | 0 ~ 9 items | Reference image URLs. At least one reference image or video is required. |
| reference_videos | array<string> | No | - | 0 ~ 3 items | Reference video URLs (up to 3). Each clip is normalized to 2-15 seconds and the combined duration is capped at 15 seconds. |

| data.outputs | array | Output values, usually URL strings; some models return text strings or structured result objects (empty when status is not completed) |
| data.urls | object | Object containing related API endpoints |
| data.status | string | Task status. completed is successful; failed, cancelled, timeout, and deleted are failure terminal statuses. |
| data.created_at | string | ISO timestamp of when the request was created (e.g., “2023-04-01T12:34:56.789Z”) |
| data.error | string | Error message (empty if no error occurred) |
| data.timings | object | Object containing timing details |
| data.timings.inference | integer | Inference time in milliseconds |
