An ornate steampunk mechanical pocket watch lying open, exposed brass gears and cogs of different sizes, engraved floral patterns on the lid, a coiled chain, small rivets and screws, glass crystal over the dial with roman numerals
A majestic stone griffin statue perched on a weathered pedestal, detailed feathered wings half spread, lion body with carved muscles, moss in the crevices
A cozy fantasy mushroom cottage with a red spotted cap roof, round wooden door, small windows with glowing lights, a tiny chimney and a flower garden around the base
A futuristic sci-fi hover bike with sleek angular panels, glowing blue thrusters, exposed mechanical details, a leather seat and handlebar controls
An ornate antique brass telescope on a wooden tripod stand, engraved decorative bands, adjustable eyepiece and polished lenses
Meshy 7.1 Text to 3D generates a 3D model directly from a text prompt. Meshy 7.1 focuses on geometric detail: with geometry_resolution set to 2k or 4k, it produces much finer surfaces and sharper silhouettes than standard geometry. Choose preview for untextured geometry or full for a textured model.
Finer geometric detail
geometry_resolution goes up to 4k, capturing small surface details and cleaner silhouettes — useful for close-up renders and 3D printing.
Texture control Generate textured models, enable PBR maps, or guide textures with a prompt or reference image.
Production geometry controls Adjust topology, target polygon count, symmetry, and remeshing.
Optional rigging and animation Rig humanoid characters and apply animation presets in the same request.
Multiple export formats GLB output with FBX, OBJ, and USDZ exports when available.

4k geometry for hero assets, close-up renders, and 3D printing; use standard for quick iteration.standard geometry; lowpoly and smart-topology ignore it.texture_prompt to describe materials such as metal, leather, ceramic, fabric, or plastic.preview mode to check shape before paying for a full textured run.Grab a WaveSpeedAI API key, then call POST https://api.wavespeed.ai/api/v3/meshy/v7.1/text-to-3d with your input as JSON. The endpoint returns a prediction id. Start polling the result endpoint around every 2 seconds, increase the interval for long-running tasks, and stop on any terminal status. On completed, read output values from data.outputs. Examples for v7.1 Text To 3d below.

time.sleep(2)v7.1 Text To 3d is a Meshy model for 3D asset generation, exposed as a REST API on WaveSpeedAI. Meshy 7.1 Text-to-3D turns text prompts into textured, PBR-ready 3D models with up to 4K geometry resolution for sharper surface detail, plus configurable topology, rigging, and animation for game assets, product visualization, 3D printing, and production workflows. Ready-to-use REST inference API, best performance, no coldstarts, affordable pricing. You can call it programmatically or try it from the playground above.
POST your input parameters to the model's REST endpoint (shown in the API tab of this playground) with your WaveSpeedAI API key in the Authorization header. Submission returns a prediction ID. Poll the result endpoint starting around every 2 seconds, increase the interval for long-running tasks, and stop on any terminal status. The playground generates Python, JavaScript, and cURL examples for submitting requests and polling results. Full request/response shape is documented at https://wavespeed.ai/docs/docs-api/meshy/meshy-v7.1-text-to-3d.
v7.1 Text To 3d starts at $1.44 per run. That figure is the base price — the final charge scales with the parameters you set in the form (output size, length, count, references, or whatever knobs this model exposes), so a higher-quality or larger output costs more than a minimal one. The exact cost for your current input is shown live next to the Generate button before you submit, and the actual per-call charge is recorded on the prediction afterwards.
Key inputs: `prompt`, `seed`, `animation_action_id`, `enable_animation`, `enable_pbr`, `enable_rigging`. The full JSON schema (types, defaults, allowed values) is rendered above the Generate button and mirrored in the API reference at https://wavespeed.ai/docs/docs-api/meshy/meshy-v7.1-text-to-3d.
Sign up for a free WaveSpeedAI account to claim starter credits, copy your API key from /accesskey, then call the endpoint shown in the API tab of the playground. The playground also auto-generates a code sample in Python, JavaScript, or cURL for the parameters you've set.
Commercial usage rights depend on the model's license, set by its provider (Meshy). Check the provider's applicable terms and WaveSpeedAI's Terms of Service before commercial use.
