THREE SIMPLE STEPS

How to make a marble race

01

Add your racers

Type or paste names, one per line, or fill in numbered marbles. Every marble gets its own colour, which you can change.

02

Pick a track and start

Choose zig-zag ramps, a peg forest, spinners, funnels, see-saws, a long drop or a random track, then press Start.

03

Export the video

Choose vertical, square or widescreen, then export the whole race with sound as an MP4 to post or share.

GOOD TO KNOW

Tips for a great marble race video

A few habits that make races more fun to watch and easier to share.

Keep the seed

The same racers, track and seed always produce the same race. Note the seed to replay a race or export it again in another format.

Vertical for short videos

9:16 at 1080×1920 fills a phone screen. Use 16:9 for widescreen videos, where the leaderboard sits beside the track.

Bigger fields, shorter races

With 50 or more marbles, end the race when the top three finish to keep the video short and the ending exciting.

Fair starts

Start places are shuffled by the seed, so the order you type names in gives nobody a head start.

Random tracks

The random track builds a new course from its own seed. Roll until you like it, then keep that seed.

Preview first

Use the 540p preview quality for a quick check, then export the final video at 1080p.

Marble race maker FAQ

What is a marble race simulator?

It drops a field of marbles down an obstacle track using real physics: gravity, bounces, friction and collisions between marbles. Each marble carries a name, so the finishing order is a fun way to rank people, teams or ideas.

How many marbles can race?

From 2 to 100. Type or paste the names one per line, or separated by commas, or fill in numbered marbles with one click.

Is the race random?

Every race comes from a seed. Start places are shuffled by it and the physics runs at a fixed time step, so a race cannot be steered, and the same racers, track and seed always replay the same race.

Can I save the race as a video?

Yes. Export the whole race, from the countdown to the results screen, as an MP4 in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 at 1080p or 540p and 30 or 60 fps, with synthesized sound or silent. Browsers that cannot write MP4 get a WebM file.

Which tracks are there?

Grand tour, zig-zag ramps, peg forest, spinner tower, funnel cascade, see-saw valley and long drop, plus a random track generator that builds a new course from a seed.

Can I use it to pick a random order?

Yes. Paste a list of names, run the race and copy the finishing order. It works well for turn orders, team picks and giveaways shown live.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark on videos and no limit on races. Everything runs in your browser.
