THREE SIMPLE STEPS

How to spin the wheel

01

Add your options

Type names or choices, one per entry, or paste a list with Edit as text.

02

Spin

Click the wheel or press Spin. It slows down and stops on the winner.

03

Keep going

Remove the winner for the next round, spin again, or share the wheel as a link.

A wheel spinner you can trust

Fair by design

The winner is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator before the wheel starts, then the wheel is aimed at it. Every entry's chance is exactly its share of the wheel.

Weights

Give an entry a weight of 2 to make it twice as likely; its slice grows to match, so the odds are always visible.

Colours and pictures

Pick a colour for each slice, or add a small picture such as a face or a logo.

Remove the winner

Take each winner off the wheel for a raffle or to set an order, and bring them all back with one click.

Share a link

Copy a link that opens the same list for someone else. The list is inside the link itself.

Made for the big screen

Full screen, sound effects and confetti for classrooms, streams and parties. Confetti is skipped when your device asks for reduced motion.

Ideas

Pick a student

Paste your class list and turn on Remove each winner, so everyone gets a turn.

Run a giveaway

Add the entrants, spin in full screen while you stream, and keep the result history.

Decide dinner

Add the options, give your favourite a weight of 2, and let the wheel choose.

Make teams

Spin and remove names one by one to fill the teams in turn.

Spin the wheel FAQ

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The winner is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator (the one used for passwords) without any bias, and each entry's chance equals its share of the wheel. We tested this with hundreds of thousands of spins.

Is the result decided before the wheel stops?

Yes, as soon as you press Spin, by the random draw. The animation then lands on that winner, so what you see is exactly what was drawn.

How do weights work?

An entry's chance is its weight divided by the total. A weight of 2 is twice as likely as 1; a weight of 0 keeps the entry on the list but off the wheel.

How do I share my wheel?

Click Share to copy a link. Anyone who opens it sees the same entries, weights and colours. Pictures stay on your device.

How many entries can I add?

Up to 200. Paste a list with Edit as text: one entry per line, or separated by commas.

Is my list saved?

Yes, in your browser on this device, so it is there next time.
