Smoke simulator FAQ
How do I make the smoke rise?
Smoke rises when it is warm. Turn up Heat per stroke and Buoyancy in Settings; the Rising smoke and Campfire scenes already do.
How do I get more swirls?
Raise Swirl, keep Thickness low and let Motion last longer. Quick flicks make tighter curls than slow drags.
Can smoke flow around objects?
Yes. Choose the Wall tool and draw shapes on the canvas; the smoke flows around them. Erase or Clear walls removes them.
Can I export a smoke video?
Yes: MP4 or WebM, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, up to 1080p at 60 fps, with a generated whoosh sound or none.
Is the smoke simulator free?
