Gerber to SVG FAQ
Is the SVG at real size?
Yes. Width and height are in millimetres, so it imports at 1:1 in Inkscape, Illustrator or CAD tools that read SVG.
Are clear (negative) objects kept?
Yes. Clear polarity and cut-outs are kept with SVG masks, so the picture matches the board.
Can I export just one layer?
Yes. Under export options pick any single layer; it is saved in its layer colour on a black background, or as clean vector shapes in the SVG.
Is it free and private?
Yes. No account, no watermark, and your files are converted in your browser.
