Video Relighter

Change the lighting of a video without changing anything else. Video Relighter re-lights outdoor footage to a chosen sun direction, sun height and light quality, or re-renders the same shot at night, while keeping the composition, camera movement and subject motion intact frame for frame. Pick presets, no prompt writing needed.

Two Modes

  • relight (default) Choose where the sun comes from (8 directions), how high it sits (low / mid / high) and how hard the shadows are (soft / medium / hard), then pick one of 12 lighting looks such as hard directional sunlight, soft warm afternoon light or strong backlight with rim light.

  • day_to_night Turn a daytime clip into night. Choose the night style: moonlight, starry, street_lights, city_glow or blue_hour.

Limits and Performance

  • Max clip length per job: 2 minutes (longer input is truncated)
  • Processing speed: roughly 10 seconds of wall time per second of video at 720p, about 25 seconds per second at 1080p
  • Best on: outdoor scenes such as landscapes, streets, drone footage and people outside. Indoor footage is not supported for relight mode.

How to Use

  1. Upload your video — drag-and-drop or paste a public URL.
  2. Pick a mode — relight for a new sun direction, day_to_night for a night version.
  3. Choose the presets — direction, elevation, hardness and look, or a night style.
  4. Submit — run the job and download the relit result.

Pricing

Billing duration: Input media duration is rounded up to whole seconds. The minimum billed duration is 3 seconds; shorter inputs are billed as 3 seconds. Input beyond 2 minutes is not processed and not billed.

Billing Rules

  • Minimum charge: 3 seconds
  • Per-second rate = (price per 5 seconds) ÷ 5
  • Billed duration = video length in seconds (rounded up), with a 3-second minimum, capped at 120 seconds
  • Total cost = billed duration × per-second rate (by output resolution)

Pro Tips

  • The model relights the whole scene: sky, clouds and shadows are re-rendered to match the new sun. Expect a new sky when you move the sun.
  • Pick a direction that differs clearly from the footage's existing light for the strongest effect.
  • Match the look to the direction: backlit looks pair with behind; golden-hour looks pair with low elevation.
  • Keep the same seed to get the same result again.

  • Video is the only required field.
  • Maximum processed video length per job: 2 minutes.
