Cursive Font Generator FAQ

Is this a real cursive font?

No, and that’s why it works everywhere: each letter is swapped for a Unicode script character such as 𝓐 or 𝒜. Characters keep their look when pasted into another app, where a font would not.

Why are the letters not joined like handwriting?

Unicode script letters are separate characters, so they don’t connect. For joined handwriting in a picture, make a logo or graphic with a script font instead.

Can I use cursive text on Instagram and TikTok?

Yes, in bios, captions and comments. Some apps don’t allow these characters in usernames, so try it there first.

Why do some letters stay plain?

Unicode only has script versions of A–Z. Digits, accented letters, other alphabets and emoji are kept as they are.

Can screen readers read cursive text?

Not always. Screen readers may spell it out letter by letter or skip it, so keep names and important information in normal text.
