What Video Resolutions Does Seedance 2.5 Support?
Seedance 2.5 resolution support on current WaveSpeedAI routes includes production choices, but varies by endpoint and cost.

Overview
Current WaveSpeedAI Seedance 2.5 text-to-video and image-to-video pages list 480p, 720p, 1080p, and 4k on relevant routes. Teams should still verify the exact endpoint before launch because resolution support, defaults, and pricing can differ by variant.
Resolution is a production decision, not only a quality slider. Use 480p or 720p when testing prompts, motion, timing, or reference behavior. Move to 1080p or 4k only after the scene is worth the extra cost and review time. A failed high-resolution generation is more expensive than a failed draft.
Aspect ratio is part of the same decision. Text-to-video exposes explicit aspect-ratio choices, while image-to-video can follow the input image’s aspect ratio. That means a vertical social clip, a square ad, and a widescreen landing-page hero may need different source preparation before the model call.
On WaveSpeedAI, build your UI so users choose the target output context before they choose resolution. A mobile ad, product demo, internal concept board, and hero video should not share one default. Store the setting in the job record so costs and output quality can be audited later.
