Does Seedance 2.5 Support Image-to-Video?
Seedance 2.5 image-to-video support lets teams animate approved frames while preserving subject and composition.

Overview
Yes. Seedance 2.5 supports image-to-video on WaveSpeedAI, with a route designed to generate video from a start image plus a text prompt. It is the right choice when the first frame, product look, character design, or visual style is already approved and should guide the generated motion.
The current image-to-video page lists a required image input and prompt, plus optional last-image guidance. That means teams can anchor the opening composition and, when available, steer the ending frame as well. For product pages, ads, and campaign tests, this is usually safer than asking text-to-video to invent the object from scratch.
Prompting should build on the image instead of re-describing every visible detail. Tell the model what changes: camera push, product rotation, lighting shift, character gesture, background movement, or ending pose. Keep the action simple enough that the subject can remain recognizable through the clip.
WaveSpeedAI makes this useful for production because the same workflow can be tested visually in the playground and then called through the API. Use low-risk settings for motion tests, review whether the subject stays stable, and only then generate delivery candidates at more expensive settings.
