For an app, policy text is the first layer. Define what users may request, which uploads are disallowed and how your team handles reports. A provider’s refusal or checker result should be treated as one signal, not as a substitute for your own distribution policy. For production, ask the provider which controls apply to the exact API path and which can be configured. Never promise that “NSFW is allowed” or “all unsafe output is blocked” without route-specific, current documentation and your own enforcement layer.
