WaveSpeed is a high-performance platform for AI image and video generation. We host a curated collection of state-of-the-art models that support text-to-image, image-to-video, text-to-video, and more. Our focus is on providing fast, high-quality AI inference with minimal latency and maximum flexibility.
1. Registration & Login
1.1 How do I register?
You can sign in to the WaveSpeedAI platform using your Gmail or GitHub account without a separate registration process. Visit https://wavespeed.ai, click the “Sign In” button at the top right corner, and choose the appropriate third-party account for authorization.
1.2 What should I do if I forget my password?
WaveSpeed uses GitHub or Google (Gmail) accounts for login. We don’t store or manage your password directly. If your password is forgotten, please go to the respective platform to reset it:
- For GitHub: https://github.com/password_reset
- For Google: https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery Once your password is reset, you can return to WaveSpeed and log in as usual.
1.3 Are other third-party login options supported?
Currently, WaveSpeedAI only supports login via Gmail or GitHub accounts.
2. Account Management
2.1 Account Security and Management
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. WaveSpeed AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its Services without liability if: (1) required by a legal demand or order (2) WaveSpeed AI, in its discretion, determines that the Customer has breached any material term of the Agreement, used the Services beyond granted rights, or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activities related to the Services. This action does not limit WaveSpeed AI’s other rights or remedies.
WaveSpeed AI is dedicated to delivering a positive customer experience, but we cannot assure the continuous availability of every Model on our platform or provide any guarantees regarding processing rates or fees.
2.2 Can I access my data after termination?
Once your account is terminated, you will lose access to services and related data. It is recommended to back up important information beforehand.
2.3 How do I recharge my account?
WaveSpeedAI processes payments via third-party services (e.g., Stripe). You can recharge your account from the “Top Up” page by selecting an amount and completing the payment process. Pricing is usage-based and excludes taxes.
2.4 Can I withdraw the free credits?
No. Any free trial credits granted upon registration can only be used for specific services and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
2.5 How is usage billed?
The platform operates on a usage-based billing model. Pricing varies by model or service, and fees are automatically deducted from your account balance upon usage.
2.6 Will I receive invoices or receipts?
Yes. We offer invoice-based payments for customers with higher volumes. Please send your invoice request to our email support@wavespeed.ai with information about your expected load.
2.7 Do you charge for failed requests?
Failures originated from our side, such as server errors , are not charged. However, if the failure is due to an error in the request, such as an invalid input, which can result in NSFW content, the request will be charged.
2.8 Will the recharge amount in my account expire?
Yes, the credits you purchase expire in 365 days.
2.9 Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts for customers with higher volumes. If you are a large purchaser, please contact support@wavespeed.ai to apply for a discount.
2.10 What is the retention policy for the files generated by WaveSpeedAI?
The files generated by WaveSpeedAI are guaranteed to be available for at least 7 days. After that, they may be deleted at any time. We recommend that you download and store on your own storage any files that you want to keep for longer.
3. Using the Services
3.1 How do I use the core services?
After logging into your account, find the model you need to use on the homepage of the website and click to enter the model page. According to the page prompts, input the relevant parameters or upload the necessary files (such as prompts, pictures, etc.), and click “Run” to start the service. After processing is completed, you can view and download the processing results on the “Run History” page.
3.2 How long does it take to process a task?
Processing time varies depending on the type of model and the complexity of the input data. In general, simple tasks may be completed within a few seconds, while more complex tasks may take longer. You can track the real-time progress of your tasks in the “Run History” page.
3.3 What is the retention policy for the files generated by wavespeed.ai?
Your outputs are stored for 7 days. We recommend downloading and saving them promptly to ensure you have a copy for future use.
3.4 Can I batch requests or use queue processing?
Not yet. For now, requests are handled one at a time. Batch or queued inference may be supported in future releases.
3.5 Can I use the outputs commercially?
Each model has its own license. Most of the endpoints available at WaveSpeedAI are available for commercial use. Check for the “README” part on each model page carefully.
3.6 Does WaveSpeed Offer an API?
Yes. WaveSpeed provides a simple HTTP API for developers, compatible with multiple programming languages. Each model page includes API usage examples (e.g., cURL, Python, JavaScript), making it easy to integrate into your application or service.
To obtain an API key:
- Go to the WaveSpeed AI Dashboard
- Sign in to your account or create a new account
- Navigate to the API Keys section
- Generate a new API key
- Copy and securely store your API key
3.7 What are the rate limits for the /results endpoint?
Our API rate limits are divided into three service tiers, each with different throughput and concurrency limits:
Level 1 – Basic Access
- Up to 10 images or 5 videos per minute
- Maximum 3 tasks running at the same time
Level 2 – Pro Access
- Up to 100 images or 30 videos per minute
- Maximum 20 concurrent tasks
Level 3 – Enterprise Access
- Up to 1000 images or 60 videos per minute
- Maximum 100 concurrent tasks
If you’re getting “Too Many Requests” errors, you’re likely hitting the limit of your current tier. To prevent throttling or task rejection, consider upgrading your plan. For enterprise customers, we can scale this up, contact us if you need more rate limits.
4. Data Security & Privacy
4.1 How does the platform protect my data?
We use advanced encryption technologies to secure your uploaded data and strictly adhere to data protection regulations. Our servers undergo regular security checks and maintenance to ensure the safety of your data during storage and processing.
4.2 Will my data be shared with third parties?
We are committed to never sharing your personal information or uploaded data with third parties without your explicit authorization, unless required by law.
