5. Configuration of Windsurf

Step 1: Open the Windsurf IDE you previously downloaded and registered. In the top right corner, you’ll see a gear icon — click it to open the settings panel, then search for ‘MCP’.

Step 2: Configuration of MCP Server. When the page jumps to the MCP list, click Add. Then you will be taken to the MCP marketplace, under the search box, click “Configure Manually”.

Step 3: Configuration of WAVESPEED_API_KEY.

In the configuration page, enter the following JSON: [WAVESPEED_API_KEY] refers to the access key obtained from WaveSpeed in the previous section.
